Book Review

The book that I was recently read is Undefeated Guts. This book is like a novel, but contains some pictures. So, I'm confused to determine the genre of this book whether it's a comic or a novel. But, this book is a fiction book obviously. This book tells about a girl-named Kana who is bullied by her friends at school. It started by a person who send an email to all her friends and the email tell that Kana is a yukky and dirty girl, and also full of viruses. Because of that, her best friends leave her alone and join the group that fight down Kana. Then she wonders what the word 'friend' means. She always gets opression at school 'till one day, she tries to find out the word 'friend' in Internet. Then, she finds a bulletin board that show 2 girls confide in each other. They are the victims of opression at their each school. They use pseudonym when they are chatting. After seeing their chat, Kana wants to tell her story too. So, she starts to type a comment. Fortunately, both Marina and Haruka reply her comment. By using a pseudonym and without ever knowing each face, the three became friends confide in each other, reinforce each other, and begin to understand what the word 'friend' .
