My Formal Letter

I've just made a formal letter because I was practicing to improve my writing skill on exercise 6 of paper 2 ESL.
Here it is:

Part 3: Exercise 2

Your school has been encouraged to enter a competition giving an opportunity to win a trip
abroad as the first prize.
You are the Headteacher of the school. Write a letter to your students telling them:
·         what the competition is all about – for example, it may be a sports competition or connected with study or community service
·         what they have to do to enter (either alone or in a group)
·         why you think they should enter.
Your letter should be about 200 words long.

Dear students,
I would like to inform you about a Dance Competition which is held by The National Culture Department. I am writing this letter to encourage you to join the competition.
Firstly, it is opened for every Senior High School student all over Indonesia. If you become the winner, you will be asked to do some dances in the opening of SEA GAMES 2011 in Jakarta. Beside that, you will have a trip to France as the first prize.
In addition, it has some requirements to be filled. This competition is only for female students and is a group competition. For each group, there are only maximum five people in it. As we will have IGCSE examinations, school decides that this competition is only for eleven graders. Our school does hope that the winner comes from you all, especially the eleven graders.
Finally, if you are interested in joining this competition, please write your name on the list below.

Yours faithfully,

Mrs.Dalila
